Lovely large vintage French Normandy lace heart-shaped pillow cover, creamy ecru. The sections of Valenciennes lace and (7) sheer linen inserts with delicately embroidered flowers and flower baskets are meticulously stitched together, creating a pat...chwork confection; embroidered ruffle all around. The back opens to insert a pillow; 3-button closure. Apx 22" X 20", including a 2"- wide ruffle, all around. Please note there are several small holes and seam separations, mostly in the ruffle area (see close-ups); otherwise very good condition. Enlarge photos for detail.
