a superb example of an early liberty & co tudric art nouveau pewter bomb vase and liner 0226, it is in wonderful condition with the three butress handles supporting the bullet shaped body with its green glass liner shown at its best against the polished pewter, the liner is in good order with no chips or cracks, it was produced in the art nouveau jugendstil secessionist era of around 1900 at the same time as the german firms of wmf, kayserzinn and oriv...it were producing similar pieces of art nouveau pewter, made by William haselers of Birmingham for the liberty & co tudric pewter ware range, normally marked to the base of one of the fins with the design number 0226 but this one is unmarked which given the normal position of the marks wear is to be expected, this vase dates to around 1903 and easily recognisable as coming from the iconic designs of archibald knox, the pewter is a polished condition and over all condition be considered as excellent with the normal signs of age and use commensurate with a functional piece well in excess of 100 years old.measuring 7.25" tall a wonderful size for display, if you require any further information, please send an e-mail and I will get back to you.we are happy to accept payment by cheque or bank transfer
