VERY RARE US MODEL 1810 HORSEMAN'S SABER SWORD JAMES WINNER / ABRAHAM NIPPES. Please, see Arthur Wyllie "Price Guide to American Swords" pg. 34-35. Please, note the form of the grip and number of wraps on the handle and JAMES WINNER signature "guard pommel slot" design. No inspection marks. I had two of this swords ( one was sold on EBAY Jan 09, 2019, the other Mar 26, 2019) , I also handled five more in the past 30 years of collecting and this one is the... best overall M1810 I ever saw. Look for yourself:
1) Has the scabbard, I only saw one with the scabbard before.2) Has 95% intact leather grip, the leather is nice and solid just some normal surface cracks , the majority of the M1810's had at the best 50% leather left but mostly just bare wood.3) No pitting on the blade, discoloration only, it is absolutely " untouched " and can be cleaned very well.4) Unhardened blade, everything is rock solid no parts movement.
