This is a 1965 Jaguar which was Fender's top of the line model at that time. This guitar is in the standard sunburst finish but has the unique bound neck with dots configuration. Prior, it was dotsunbound, and after it was blocksbound, but for a period of time during 1965, it was like this. br style"color:rgb(65, 65, 65) font-family:Lato, system-ui, -apple-system, system-ui, quotSegoe UIquot, Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif font-size:16px font-style:normal font-variant-ligatures:normal font...-variant-caps:normal font-weight:400 letter-spacing:normal orphans:2 text-align:start text-indent:0px text-transform:none white-space:normal word-spacing:0px background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255) text-decoration-style:initial text-decoration-color:initial"br style"color:rgb(65, 65, 65) font-family:Lato, system-ui, -apple-system, system-ui, quotSegoe UIquot, Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif font-size:16px font-style:normal font-variant-ligatures:normal font-variant-caps:normal font-weight:400 letter-spacing:normal orphans:2 text-align:start text-indent:0px text-transform:none white-space:normal word-spacing:0px background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255) text-decoration-style:initial text-decoration-color:initial"I bought this guitar from an older gentleman who was selling it because his arthritis made it impossible to play. He told me that he bought the guitar used in 1975 with lawn-mowing money and played (and loved) it a bunch through the years. The well-worn, authentic relic'd look makes that obvious. I appreciate that this guitar made it through the 1970s and 1980s without a bunch of mods and "upgrades" which is kind of a minor miracle. When he went to sell it to me, he actually teared up and changed his mind at the last minute. I told him that if he wasn't ready to let go, he should keep it, and that it was cool that he didn't want to part with it. I guess that's what he needed to hear because he changed his mind again and handed it over.br style"color:rgb(65, 65, 65) font-family:Lato, system-ui, -apple-system, system-ui, quotSegoe UIquot, Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif font-size:16px font-style:normal font-variant-ligatures:normal font-variant-caps:normal font-weight:400 letter-spacing:normal orphans:2 text-align:start text-indent:0px text-transform:none white-space:normal word-spacing:0px background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255) text-decoration-style:initial text-decoration-color:initial"br style"color:rgb(65, 65, 65) font-family:Lato, system-ui, -apple-system, system-ui, quotSegoe UIquot, Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif font-size:16px font-style:normal font-variant-ligatures:normal font-variant-caps:normal font-weight:400 letter-spacing:normal orphans:2 text-align:start text-indent:0px text-transform:none white-space:normal word-spacing:0px background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255) text-decoration-style:initial text-decoration-color:initial"Okay, let's get in to it...br style"color:rgb(65, 65, 65) font-family:Lato, system-ui, -apple-system, system-ui, quotSegoe UIquot, Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif font-size:16px font-style:normal font-variant-ligatures:normal font-variant-caps:normal font-weight:400 letter-spacing:normal orphans:2 text-align:start text-indent:0px text-transform:none white-space:normal word-spacing:0px background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255) text-decoration-style:initial text-decoration-color:initial"br style"color:rgb(65, 65, 65) font-family:Lato, system-ui, -apple-system, system-ui, quotSegoe UIquot, Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif font-size:16px font-style:normal font-variant-ligatures:normal font-variant-caps:normal font-weight:400 letter-spacing:normal orphans:2 text-align:start text-indent:0px text-transform:none white-space:normal word-spacing:0px background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255) text-decoration-style:initial text-decoration-color:initial"The guitar is, I believe, all original with the addition of a Mastery bridge the original bridge and bridge cover are in the case (as pictured). Up for sale, a 1962 Fender Jazz Bass in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. Produced late in '62 and a true Pre-CBS instrument, this bass is 100 original with the exception of a professional nitro lacquer refinish in Sonic Blue with a matching headstock and a new bone nut. This is one of the nicest and most complete vintage Jazz Basses we've ever had the pleasure of offering for sale, featuring the original chrome "ashtray" covers, stock black bobbin pickups, and all original har...dware.br style"color: rgb(34, 34, 34) font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"br style"color: rgb(34, 34, 34) font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"The tone and feel of this bass is everything you expect from a Jazz Bass produced in Fender's golden era, with a very resonant body that delivers a clear and even sound across all of the strings. Weighing in at 9lbs 10oz "fully clothed" with the original chrome covers, this bass has just enough heft to sustain very well and deliver a strong, fundamental attack, while still balancing well on a strap and feeling easy on the back. Striking a note on the E string causes the entire instrument to vibrate and resonate, and this is a particularly soulful and rich sounding Jazz Bass. The pickups cover a wide sonic range, with growl, complexity and that slightly nasally upper midrange cut that defines a Jazz Bass bridge pickup, paired with the warmth and thump that balances things out at the neck position. Both original black bobbin single coil pickups are intact with their original windings. Professionally setup here at Mike Mike's Guitar Bar, this Jazz Bass has comfortable action and a fresh set of 45-100 roundwound strings.br style"color: rgb(34, 34, 34) font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"br style"color: rgb(34, 34, 34) font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"The one-piece maple neck has the traditional Jazz Bass "A" 1 12" nut width, with a slender C shape consistent with '62 spec. While notably slim at the nut, the profile gains more shoulder and heft up the board, filling the palm and fretting easily. The profile depth measures .745" at the 1st fret, graduating to .990" at the 12th. The Brazilian rosewood fretboard is a very dark and tight-grained cut, with original clay dot inlay and stock slender fretwire. The frets have their full factory height, showing moderate uniform wear on frets 1-5, with wear extending beneath the A and D strings until fret 7, and virtually no wear further up the neck. The truss rod nut is also flush with the heel of the neck, turning well and responding as it should, and the nut is a new hand-carved piece of bone for optimal clarity and sustain. On the headstock, the original clover button reverse tuning gears are intact, and turn extremely smoothly with particularly clean plating. As the headstock face features new Sonic Blue nitro lacquer, the decal is a correct replacement. The neck heel has its original bold November 1962 date stamp, also noting the "A" nut width.br style"color: rgb(34, 34, 34) font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"br style"color: rgb(34, 34, 34) font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"All of the electronics work as they should, and the original Stackpole pots are all intact, dating to the 37th week of 1962. All of the original hardware is present as well, including the stock knobs, finger rest, and chrome bridge base with stock saddles. The control plate has notably clean plating, while the "ashtray" bridge and pickup covers show light, uniform surface patina. This original pair is quite the rarity, with the smaller mounting holes only seen on the first few years of production. The mint green pickguard is a vintage-spec replacement with the correct tint and edge bevel.br style"color: rgb(34, 34, 34) font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"br style"color: rgb(34, 34, 34) font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"The original alder body is in excellent shape, and great care was taken to retain the integrity of the original body
Neumann U47 fet microphoneVINTAGE _ NOT A REISSUE Amazing Sound . Condition is Used. Minor Scuff mark on Logo (see photos) but otherwise in excellent shape Sounds Fantastic on Instruments and Vocals. If you're looking for one you probably know all about it Would love to find it a new happy homeLow SN 3513 THIS IS A classic U 47 fet (1972-1986)Here's Some background on this mic:The Sound of the SeventiesSmooth is the word that best describes the sonic ideal of the seventies. The then new U 47 fet... was very much part of that sound. Introduced in 1972, it soon became a studio favorite combining the refined sound balance of its tube predecessor with a new clarity and greater ease of use. Toward the mid-80s, as records became increasingly more strident, the smooth U 47 fet fell out of favor as a vocal microphone and was discontinued. Yet over the years top engineers discovered new applications for the U 47 fet in front of guitar cabinets and kick drums. Eventually, famous vocalists from boy group pop to heavy metal reestablished the U 47 fet as a versatile vocal microphone. So now, by popular demand, its back in production.Far from OutdatedThe U 47 fet uses the same K 47 large diaphragm condenser capsule and the same headgrille design as its tube operated predecessor, the legendary U 47, which revolutionized the recording and broadcast industries from 1949 to1960. For sonic continuity, the U 47 fet also uses a similarly oversized output transformer. Otherwise, its transistorized head amplifier is an amazingly advanced design and a testament to Neumanns state of the art engineering. This vintage microphone has a dynamic range of 119 dBThe U 47 fet can handle extreme SPLs of up to 137 dB, and even 147 dB with the 10 dB pad switch engaged. This, along with its smooth top end and lush midrange, makes the U 47 fet an excellent microphone for bright and loud instruments such as brass and electric guitar. Due to its exceptionally clear and uncluttered low end, it is a great choice for upright bass and bass cabinets. Numerous top engineers consider U 47 fet the ultimate microphone to place in front of the kick drum. At the same time it is an excellent vocal mic for crooners and screamers alike, due to its beautifully balanced response with just a slight, unobtrusive boost in the upper mids for added presence in the mix.The U 47 fet comes with a unique one-sided swivel mount, which makes it easy to position. Pad and low cut switches are accessible on the rear of the microphone. An additional switch next to the XLR socket allows for attenuating the output signal by 6 dB, which is a handy feature in conjunction with low-headroom vintage preamplifiers.THIS IS A classic U 47 fet (1972-1986)Solid state successor of the legendary U 47 tube microphoneBalanced sound with superb presenceCardioid patternLarge output transformerLow self-noise and enormous SPL capabilityHappy Bidding

Up for sale is a vintage Santa Cruz Blacktop Series Hosoi Picasso deck. This is not a reissue. I believe this deck was originally produced around 1988. I purchased it at a local skate shop in 1990. It is remarkably well preserved for it's age. The nose isn't beat up, and the tail only has a small amount of wear on it. The top and bottom graphics are in very good condition (see photos). The grip tape is also in good shape. There are mounting holes in the bottom for a set of rails that I had insta...lled.
Up for sale, a 1978 Fender Jazz Bass in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This bass is a classic example of Fender's premier upscale bass model, with stock gray bobbin pickups and fresh flatwound 45-105 strings. Punchy and authoritative, this bass has a touch of growl and great top end articulation, and the ash body delivers both midrange presence and present note attack. The bass has weight commensurate with the year of production at 10lbs 7oz, and the instrument sustains with a... richness and power afforded few Jazz Basses. Professionally setup here at Mike Mike's Guitar Bar, this Jazz Bass has been dialed in for optimal action and accurate intonation.br style"color: rgb(34, 34, 34) font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"br style"color: rgb(34, 34, 34) font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"The maple neck has a chunky and full-feeling C shaped profile with good shoulder, measuring .845" deep at the 1st fret, graduating to .975" at the 12th fret. The neck profile and headstock face shows notable ambering of the gloss finish, with some mottling of the finish (visually, not texturally) on the treble side of the profile. The original frets are intact and have good meat, having been leveled and crowned in the instruments lifetime, currently showing just a touch of wear on the crowns of frets 1-3. The truss rod is responsive, the neck is straight, and the bass plays well in all registers with no untoward buzzes or dead spots. The nut has the traditional Jazz Bass 1 12" width, and the headstock face has the small block logo associated with that latter half of the '70s. The original chrome Fender tuners with clover buttons are also intact.br style"color: rgb(34, 34, 34) font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"br style"color: rgb(34, 34, 34) font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"On the body, the original gray bobbin pickups are present, wired to an older set of CTS pots and a premium tone cap. The stock bridge is intact with a new G saddle and clean chrome plating. The bass has at one time been fitted with a different bridge, as evidenced by the subtle imprint of a larger baseplate forward of the current bridge footprint. The chrome "ashtray" bridge and pickup covers are brand new Fender vintage-spec replacements. The original gloss Sunburst three-tone finish shows no touchup or overspray, highlighting the prominent grain of the ash body. The finish has a matte appearance on the treble side lower bout edge, with some texture through the gloss from a strap or case lining. Additional wear includes chips around the body edges and on the back, with various finish scratches and shallow nicks on the back too.br style"color: rgb(34, 34, 34) font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"The original molded Fender USA hardshell case is included.
