Amazing Rare Antique Russian Silver Tea Glass Holder Moscow 1896 Assay Mark 109gStamped in two places this is a silver holder for a tea glass in the Russian manner of serving tea. It has assay marks for Moscow 1896 and 84 for their grade of silver. It also has Cyrillic maker’s initials that resemble “BTC” – not identified.The holder is a footed cylinder with a “D” handle. Around the body in bold Cyrillic there is a motto in Russian. At the centre of this there is a wreathe...d cartouche with the initials “AO”.It is in good antique condition with no faults; some black spot marks to the inner base, and a slight distortion to the foot rim; neither detract.
