An antique plaque featuring the Alpha Delta Phi emblemMade of bronze or similar metal and affixed to a wooden backing that's marked "Manufactured by the Glouskin & Fox , New Haven, Connecticut. The Glouskin and fox Company was a firm that sold Yale souvenirs in the late 1800s and into the early 1900sAlpha Delta Phi started in 1832 as a literary society at Hamilton College, NY; many notable people have been members including John D. Rockefeller, FDR, several Supreme Court justices, ...etc.Plaque is approx 10 1/4 " x 7 1/4 " ; wood backing is approx 15 5/8ths" x 10 5/8ths"Condition: The plaque is loose and could probably be tightened. The wood backing has much wear and tear. Also has a few spots on plaque.
