Sony TC-WE475 Dual Cassette DeckA good working, solid deck.
Although somewhat cosmetically challenged, the deck
works perfectly and the heads look new.
I played my tapes which sounded very nice.
Makes an excellent recording, too.

I cleaned everything up, checked the lube and
replaced all the belts.
Set the speed and tested W&F = all good.
Cleaned tape path and verified path alignment.
Did a complete electronic alignment check with
no changes needed. Sweet!
Speaks to the excellent head condition.Cosmetics:
The unit has lots of splotches (dots) of what looks
like some kind of over-spray from somewhere else.
Affects mainly the top of the front panel, with some
"dots" appearing here and there, everywhere.
I took pics, so look them over.
Sitting in my rack, can hardly tell, but it is there
and the u nit is priced accordingly.
Other than that, no major issues, big scratches or gouges.
Top cabinet was dented and it very slightly "wavy".
All solid though. A good deck.Shipping:
