Amazing mid-late 1960's KLH Model Twenty AM/FM System, fully restored, complete with original manual and accessories. This midcentury classic has the optional wood cover, giving it visual presence a plastic dust cover can't match. It has a Tape/Aux RCA input, so you can connect a modern device like a phone. It looks, works, and sounds fantastic.
This system has been completely refurbished, not just 'serviced'. All electrolytic capacitors in the base... unit have been replaced with top quality Nichicon or Panasonic equivalents, all controls cleaned, and the speaker outputs have been replaced. All the knobs and controls faces have been cleaned. The speaker crossovers have new Dayton Audio capacitors, resealed woofer surrounds, and new tweeter seals. The Garrard turntable has been disassembled, cleaned, and properly lubricated. The cartridge and stylus are new, and the tracking force has been set correctly according to the manual.
The walnut base and dust cover have been refinished with tung oil and paste wax, as have the speaker cabinets, which also have new grill cloth over the original backers. The base unit looks almost new. The speakers have a few blemishes that could not be completely corrected, but they are nicely freshened and match the base unit really well.
Included are the stacking/changer spindles for 33 and 45 RPM records, as well as a single-play spindle. The changer has been tested and all functions are working as they should. It drops and plays records seamlessly, and shuts off when done.
Also included are the original manuals, setup instructions, inspection/packing slip, KLH speaker badges, and a hard-to-find KLH stylus pressure gauge. A true 60's time capsule, ready for you to enjoy for years down the road.

This is a large, heavy unit with a built-in turntable, and requires special attention. The turntable transport screws have been locked, the tone arm secured, and the dust cover is protected. The speakers will be shipped separately in sturdy boxes.
