Offered for sale is this antique book titled, OLD GRIPS AND LITTLE TID; OR, JUVENILE BENEVOLENCE by Joseph Banvard and published by U. D. Ward out of New York. It is in very good to EXCELLENT overall condition with beautiful decorative hardcovers and bright, clean, and tight pages! The book has the look and feel of being seldom opened.....if ever. There is an inscription on the first blank page. The book has an 1874 title page date and an 1872 copyright page date. Edward O. Jenkins was... the Printer and Stereotyper also out of New York. It measures about 6 3/4" by 4 1/2" and has 146 pages that show very little foxing or yellowing, much less than one would expect from its age.
