Lower hinge and joint split; nearly detached. Spine toned, with heavy chipping to head and tail, as well as some marks and scratches to boards. Fair. An alternative version of Homer's Odyssey co-written with popular Scottish anthropologist Andrew Lang, author and compiler of fairy tales and mythology. The text is narrated by the Egyptian scribe Rei, who records Odysseus' history after his traditional return home to Ithica following the Trojan War.
