Luther Burbank His Methods and Discoveries, 1914, Signed First Edition leather bound complete set volumes 1-12. Full calf leather embossed with orange tree design on cover and spine.
One of the first sets of books published using color photography.
This set of books was only sold by subscription, this leather bound edition is the only one with the original signature of Luther Burbank which is on a special tipped-in leaf designed by Tiffany & Co.
Original owner's name... gilt-stamped on 1st volume pasteboard
Very good condition, considering the books are over 100 years old. There is some wear to covers and spines. Leather is scuffed on front and back covers and edges of spines, leather is torn on one of the books. Some foxing to pages, binding is still fairly tight.
