An original Dialogue Cutting Continuity to the classic OUR GANG comedy short, FLY MY KITE. Much like a script, DIALOGUE CUTTING CONTINUITY features dialogue, ...shot descriptions, (including titles) of each and every shot in the film. Cutting continuities also noted the shot # and how many 35mm feet and frames of film into the short that the shot appears. This information would be compiled by the Film Editor (in this case Richard Currier) and would serve as a record of all the shots for other key departments at the studio and for filing as proof of content with the U.S. Copyright office (often in lieu of sending an actual print of the film). Studio file copy has 29 pages extensively detailing every shot and line of dialogue in the classic early sound Our Gang short. First page notes this as Production G-41 in the OUR GANG series. Continuity is in fine to very fine condition. Paper is supple and cream colored and free of any rips, tears, stains, chipping or notable creasing. A few pages have very light pencil marks at the right edge. All pages are well attached.
