Wonderful vintage cat by Charles Claudon of The Butterfly Cat Studio. Signed on bottom. I am not sure who signed OZ on bottom, might be erasable? I was never bothered so never tried to remove.
Love this playful baby! Charles work is highly sought after. He passed away in 2016, and I am not surethat he did much sculpture wo...rk after divorcing his wife who was also his partner in 1995.
Hand sculpted & painted in a light beige color with darker stripes and white accents.Positioned laying on back with front paws curled and back paws sticking out some. Tailis laid out as well. Face is exquiste, very detailed, colored eyes & whiskers. Awesome.
