THIS IS A FINE ANTIQUE TIMBER HEWING BROAD HEAD AXE WITH ORIGINAL BENT HANDLE & 7" BLADE SIGNED.IT IS HAND FORGED WITH THE ORIGINAL 25" HICKORY BENT HANDLE FOR HEWING LARGE DIMENSIONAL TIMBERS.THE SIGNATURE IS NOT FULLY READABLE THE MIDDLE LETTERS APPEAR TO BE "ERTS"?. THE BLADE EDGE IS 7 INCHES ACROSS, THE HEAL MEASURES 2 1/2" BY 1 1/4", AND THE ENTIRE BLADE IS 10 INCHES LONG FROM THE HEAL TO THE CENTER OF THE BLADE.THE AXE HAS BEEN WELL CARED FOR OVER THE YEAR...S AND QUITECOLLECTABLE.  PLEASE SEE ALL THE PHOTOS FOR A CLOES-UP LOOK.
