You are viewing an exquisite pair of "Doric" pattern Candlestick Holders that were made by Westmoreland Glass. These holders are in a color Westmoreland called "Blue Mist" which is a satin glass and they made a Light Blue Mist & Dark Blue Mist this pair is the dark blue. Both holders have the iconic "WG" Westmoereland makers mark, Loraine Kovar's Westmoreland Book list the rarity on these candle holders in Blue Mist as "Difficult". They are in excellent used condition with no... chips, breaks or cracks found, one does have a small manufacture inclusion or stress line on side of top (see last photo). They measure approximately 4.5" high and 4.5" across base.Theremay be straw marks, shear marks, air bubbles, heavy mold seams, tool marksand/or other manufacturing markings that are inherent in glass of the era.
