DESCRIPTION: Vintage Chinese carved rose quartz stone Guanyin figure. Figure mounted in a carved piece of fluorite, which was at some point mounted on another plinth, as there is residual glue. There is a hole in the bottom of the fluorite base.
MARKS: CHINA hand stamped line by line into the base.
APPROX. MEASUREMENTS: Figure is set down into the fluorite about 1/8". Rose quartz Guanyin is roughly 6.25" tall, add the 1/8" set into base and Guanyin ...is 6 3/8". From top of head to bottom of stand about 7 7/8" high. Fluorite stand 3" x 2 1/16" x 1 3/8" high (approx.).
WEIGHT: 1 lb. 6.6 oz.
CONDITION: Vintage, residual glue on bottom of base. Chips and cracks to fluorite (see photos). Some small chips to the rose quartz on the lotus flower and the edge of the dress hems. Various striations though out both the rose quartz and the fluorite. Some staining or discoloration on the back of the rose quartz. Being sold AS IS.
