I can not express how fortunate we were to have a local place to stay.It became our "Home away from home" during that difficult time. Canyou imagine having to pay for a hotel room or rent an apartment in Seattle for9 months? Ronald McDonald house provides rooms with bedsand a bathroom, a community kitchen area with locked storage cabinets to storeyour personal food & cooking items, an exercise equipment room, and theability to check out video games & movies for the children and theirfamilies. About every other week or so, a community group would come andcater dinner for everyone staying there. With everything else going on, it wassuch a blessing to have that extra support! Ronald McDonald House also provided access toother incredible donated gifts & services like opportunities to go to thezoo, baseball games, and other outings. These were things that normally wouldnot have been accessible for families like ours staying out of town withlimited funds and helped make the time spent there more bearable. For families with children going through extremehealth crises, Ronald McDonald House is a Godsend! Thank you for your purchase and for helping ussupport their mission!
