My Paris is a collection of unique paintings from the life of the modest Parisian districts: Belleville, Menilmontana, Montparnasse. The heroes of Ehrenburg are Parisian fishermen and book dealers, concierges and chefs, gossips and flower sellers, junkmen and workers, ...street circus dancers, shoemakers and eternal feathers. All photos were taken with the side viewfinder. Thanks to this, the people whom the writer was shooting did not know that a lens was pointed at them. As a result, the pictures turned out to be very direct, without utaek and embellishment that captured the reality as it is. The text does not impose, but only explains the impression that these scenes from life made on the author. This rare edition allows us to see Paris between two wars, Paris, which is long gone.
