Greetings! This week I am pleased to offer a marvelous selection of German made, beautiful vintage original 1950s-1960s Schuco Piccolo, Wiking, Dux, and Rex Juwel die cast cars. Many rare variations and hard to find models! These manufacturers are known for their colorful and beautiful paint finishes and innovative features. I have enjoyed thes...e models in my personal collection for years, and now they are available to add to yours! They represent well the Golden Age of diecast toy cars from the late 1950s to mid 1960s and are similar to Matchbox and Husky/Corgi Junior, but produced in far fewer numbers.

This auction is for the attractive and sought-after vintage early 1960s Schuco Piccolo (Germany) 708 Porsche Spyder in gorgeous unused mint and boxed original condition. Beautiful example with an original smooth light green paint finish, silver trim, steering wheel, and little rubber tires on spun aluminum wheels. The Piccolo series was produced from 1957-1969 and included over 60 models. Each model was made to an exact 1:90 scale, and made of a solid heavy casting. This one measures 2 inches long. The original box is a fitting partner, colorful, crisp, and well-shaped, early issue with small oval cut-out window to see the color of the model inside, complete with all flaps, minor age/edge wear.
