Vintage John Audubon print of the merganser in excellent condition. The print is one of a collection 50 birds produced by The Macmillan Company, USA, in the 1950s. Each bird was a loose individual print presented in cloth case. The prints are annotated on the reverse. The colours are nice and strong with no fading or discolouration. It is re-framed in a modern thin black wood frame with an ivory mount behind glass. The frames measure 14" by 12". Other birds are available and they make ...a great decorative pieces.
