Description: A splendid English very rare and unusual George V solid sterling silver Art Deco circular shaped ashtray with a yellow coloured guilloche enamel to the centre and the sides. The ashtray is fully hallmarked with a set of English solid sterling silver hallmarks to the front. A wonderful and highly unusual Art Deco ash tray which is from the King George V period and is of 84 years of age. Its in outstanding clean condition with no damage to the enamel and would make a fabulous addition... to your collection. A very fine example.This is one of two i have listed. Maker Date Hallmark: Maker William Neale (Registered October 1919). Date hallmark 1935 and assay hallmark Birmingham.Measurements: Diameter across the front 8.3 cm and height 1 cm. Weight: Silver weight 40 Grams. Condition: Excellent clean example with no damage or issues to the enamel definitely no cracks, splits, marks or repairs. The silver body is in excellent condition with no dents, dings, splits, holes, knocks or repairs. It's a wonderful Art Deco enamel example. The hallmarks are very crisp and readable with no wear issues. It looks to have seen little if any use.
