Up for auction is a rare late 19th century porcelain caviar bowl made in Saint Petersburg, Russia, by Kornilov Brothers. This finely crafted 3-piece bowl with underplate features hand painted scrolling Pan-Slavic cartouches in stunning blues and greens. Trim is finished in bright gold. The pattern is Kornilov #124. The bowl measures about 7 1/2" wide, including handles (5 7/8" wide not including handles), and the underplate measures about 6 7/8" in diameter.&nbs...p; Condition of this piece is excellent, with no chips or cracks.
