Up for bid is a fantastic antique ring insert, which has the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity crest in dark colored metal. I found a small handful of these recently, from many different fraternities and a few sororities as well. Some of the pieces in the lot had older versions of crests (Sig Ep, Lambda Chi), so I think these are from the 1920's or 30's. I believe they may have been salesman samples, and used to insert into rings, or possibly used for other types of jewelry-making back in the day. This... one may be an older version of this crest as well, as it has the older ADPhi badge in the middle, with the star on top, which I've never seen before. The crest is set against a black enamel or plastic. It's not glass and or any sort of stone. It's in amazing condition with no damage or wear, nor any smoothing to the coat of arms. Measures 12" tall. A very nice addition to your ADPhi or vintage fraternity sorority collection Please email with any questions and thanks for lookingI always have vintage Greek letter fraternity sorority and college items for sale, so please check back frequently. I also maintain mailing lists for many fraternities and sororities, so if you'd like to receive notice from me when I've listed something please send me your email address.PLEASE READ: Shipping will be determined by the winning bidder's zip code. Delivery Confirmation is always included on all purchases. Boxed items will use US Postal Service Priority Mail, at my own estimated cost to ship. Insurance is highly recommended on all glass items, as I cannot be responsible for the condition of the item once it leaves my hands. Flat items will be sent 1st Class Mail at my cost to ship plus .50 for the large, bubble-wrap lined envelope. No shipping gouging here. Payment must be received within ten days of winning the auction. I will have my invoices, with total shipping due, out within 24 hours of auction's end.00074
