You Are Bidding On An Rare & Vintage Wenger "Champ" Swiss Army Knife.
The Champ is a Large Factory Discontinued 85mm Pocket Knife which includes this Loaded Tool Set; Master Blade, Nail File/Cleaner, Scissors, Can Opener, Bottle Opener with Flat Head Screwdriver, Wire Stripper, Woodsaw, Metal Saw/File, Fish Scaler, Magnifying Glass, Wrench, Phillips Screwdriver, Corkscrew, Reamer/Awl, Toothpick, Tweezers and Keyring.
This was the LARGES...T Wenger Model before they added the Pliers and Compass in the new version. This example comes in classic Red Cellidor handle scales with a Wenger "Swiss Cross" on the front handle scale. The scales exhibit some scrapes/nicks, and there is a chip in the back Handle Scale as can be seen in Picture #5 (the scale can be replaced if desired).
PLEASE NOTE THESE TOOL ISSUES AS OUTLINED BELOW:
All tools open fairly smooth, a few have lost their "snap" when closing. There are no missing or twisted tools. The Scissors open and close smooth but have lost their spring retention, may just need some oil to get it moving.
The Corkscrew opens and closes smooth, it is loose (side to side play) in the open position, but stays closed when put away. All tools may exhibit some "pocket wear", and could use cleaning/oiling in the pivots. There is no rust or corrosion on this knife.
The Blade seems to retain its original Factory Edge with no secondary blade grind. The Blade is stamped with "Wenger Delemont Swtizerland Stainless" on the Front Tang, there is No Tang Stamp on the Reverse side.
