Original Description:
This is an extremely rare Sturditoy pressed steel toy made from 1927 to 1929,  that competed with Keystone, Kingsbury,  Buddy L and Steelcraft toys of that era. This Sturditoy is a real gem and hard to find in original condition and I have only seen 2 of this version without headlights with treaded tires.   The tailgate is original and still works well.The paint is still quite shiny and in excellent condition for it's age. The Army... truck that Sturditoy made a lot of is a bright green and good looking.  The wheels and rubber tires are in great shape for the age of this truck. There is no rust or touch-ups or pitting anywhere and the decals are still no way as Rare as this one.   If you are looking for a Rare Sturditoy this is it!!!!The truck measures 27 inches long.  The metal hoops that the canvas goes over are not removable, This must have been an earlier one as they used screws and nuts not  rivets.
