Honestly, I don't know much about this sign. I found it buried at the bottom of pile of trash, old concrete, and dirt at the back of my property and I hope it will be worth something to a cigar memorabilia / tobacciana collector or maybe to someone who can restore it. Based on my limited internet research, there is a good chance that this sign may be from the 1930s, but I'm not an expert, so I don't really know.
The front appears to be porcelain enamel on top o...f metal. The text is white on top of a dark cobalt blue and reads 7-20-4 cigar company with the R.G. Sullivan's company logo in red-orange (it might be red that faded?). The back is silver metal, but has many rust spots.
It is clearly in used condition. It was outside for 20+ years and shows signs of wear, rust, chips, etc. There is rust on the back of the sign. The front is damaged with small scuff marks and chips missing along the edges. The front is also rusty above the "7" and in the upper left corner. The lower center and lower right metal rivets are missing. Please check the photos carefully before buying.
The dimensions of the sign are 3" by 18".
