This is a Rare piece by Thomas Mott set with a beautiful intricate Millefiori Glass Teardrop Shaped Cabochon set in a sterling silver frame.
The pendant is Signed TLM Sterling on the back. There are a few little dints on the back but not noticed when on.
Millefiori is Italian for a “thousand flowers” and is used to describe mosaic glass produced by first heating a bundle of thin glass rods of different colours until the rods fuse together. The bundle is pulled ...thin, cooled, sliced cross-sectionally and polished to create the Cabochon.
Approx. 5.7cm x 2.8cm and weighs 11.85 Grams.
