Original Description:
Antique heavy round enamel beer tray from the pre prohibition era. Stoll Brewing was a thriving Troy New York beer maker that went defunct in 1920, like hundreds of other breweries, after the passage of the Volstead Act of 1919. This tray has bright colors with heavy, textured enameling. Made by Baltimore Enamel and Novelty Company, which went out of business in 1943. This tray is at least 100 years old, and could date to the 19th Century.
Some surface discoloration that I have not... attempted to remove. One small enamel chip on the upper surface - please see pics. Measures 11.75” diameter with 1” high rim. This is an exceedingly rare piece and will be carefully wrapped for safe shipping. Thanks and enjoy.
