We guarantee that your plants will arrive ali...ve. We retain the right to cancel and only refund cancelled orders, delay shipping, and/or hold items in the event of unforeseen circumstances, for example, shipping delays due to winter storms, wildfires, or regional service disruptions driven by pandemic or political unrest. We are not able to check minute or regional weather forecasts and/or crisis for every individual order. Instead, we appreciate that it is the buyers responsibility to either either inform us in advance of shipping or be prepared for delivery for us to honor our guarantee.
If you need a 72 hour heat pack, please purchase one from us after your final auction ends. If you are bidding on multiple items, please wait until you receive an invoice once your final auction closes. We will send you an invoice with your total items within 24 hours. Shipping will be combined for multiple items via USPS Priority Mail Expedited 2-3 day depending on location, Monday or Tuesday following payment.
We do not accept returns, grant refunds, or provide exchanges of plants under any circumstances. Once plants have left our care, we no longer have control over external stressors, pests or pathogens. Since plants are perishable, we do not accept returns under any condition. All sales are final.
Once USPS is in possession of your plant, it is beyond our control what happens to the plant during shipping, and upon delivery.  Likewise, nor can we be responsible for your level of knowledge, skill, care, growing conditions, and the plant’s behavior in your growing conditions.
We use the highest quality packaging materials available to ensure your plant arrives alive and intact. We take photographs of the plant prior, during, and after packaging before USPS takes possession of parcel. It is extremely rare that the plant, and/or inner protective packaging, and/or outer shipping box are broken or damaged in transit.
If your order is delayed or damaged during shipping, we need to be contacted immediately and within 24 hours of you receiving the damaged package (See Note Below). We will do our best to correct the issue. Broken leaves, pitchers, or stems are cosmetic and can either be pruned or used as propagation material; wilted leaves or pitchers may be a result of stress, long-distance travel and will recover after acclimation, fresh air, water, light, and rest. Musty odors are quit normal and are a result of a plant and/or its growing media shipped in complete darkness and in a sealed protective container devoid of airflow.
Dead or dying leaves upon receipt are indicative of shipping stress, and/or older leaves making way for new growth, doing exactly what a healthy growing plant does. Plants are living organisms and their respective growing organs can die from many different causes beyond our control for example, senescence, the condition or process of deterioration with age.  All plants go through an acclimation period after being delivered and during major seasonal changes. Some older, lower, mature, and/or  immature leaves might turn yellow or brown, and a plant might drop some leaves during these periods.
PLEASE DO NOT proceed with repotting or replanting if you are concerned with the plant’s condition upon receipt; avoid disturbing the plant, growing media, pot, leaves, pitchers, and/or roots. Do not introduce any foreign materials to pot other than RO purified, distilled, and/or deionized water. Some potting media becoming dislodged during shipping is normal and not detrimental to the plant’s long term health.
NOTE: In the unlikely event that your plant or package was either severely delayed and/or damaged during shipping, we may consider filing a claim with USPS. However, in order to file a claim, we will need photographic documentation. Once we receive the photographs, we can make an assessment of the damage. We ask that you take the time and carefully read the instructions below. If you’re unable to follow the instructions below, we can’t file a claim.
When you receive your package, please follow these instructions:1. Take photos of the parcel BEFORE you cut into the packaging and open it. Photos must be clear and legible, meaning, USPS will need to see the condition of the packaging and be able to read the package labels legibly, in focus, and from at least two angles for full coverage. We’re not striving for National Geographic quality but rather, forensic quality, sufficient for claim evidence. Maintain adequate lighting throughout.2. Open the box by carefully cutting the taped seams perpendicular along and between the top flaps with a box knife or shears. Open the outer/inner flaps and take a picture of the contents inside before removing any of the kraft paper filler material. Then remove enough of the paper filler carefully and take another photo of the taped up red solo cup packaging nested inside.3. Remove the red solo cup from the box and take at least two photos of it from opposite aspects. Carefully cut the taped capper with small shears rather than a knife to avoid damaging the contents inside. Then gently remove the paper towel wadding/packing from the top of the cup. Some of the wadding is packed around the plant to stabilize the crown securely during shipping transit, so please take your time during this step.4. With the potted plant still nested inside the red cup/protective shell, take several photographs under bright cool white light or use bright natural light if necessary. Please avoid warm white light (2700-3500K).5.  Now carefully remove potted plant from protective red cup and photograph top and all four sides. Please reference the original eBay listing photos of this plant for comparison. The photos need to clearly and characteristically demonstrate that this is indeed the same plant; please no blurry or out-of-focus images.5. Lastly, please keep the plant(s) inside the original pot, do not replant, repot, or add your own growing media, mix or top dressing. In addition, you will need to retain all packaging materials for the USPS Claims Inspector(s).
