Beautiful models, lovely slide, very retro, rare definitely one for your collection!Breathtaking 3D Stereo Slide - I can only describe it as “Spying on a girl with binoculars”, the 3D is the best I have ever seen, they are that good. I usually have some Vintage viewers listed “Buy it now” sourced from the USA, imported, taxes paid, serviced and cleaned throughly and available for my customers - very little profit is made in these, order with confidence. If you require a better image of the Slide please message and I will return a better picture. Note: some images have been cropped to display on eBay format. Also note for speed images are taken on iphone and don’t showcase the true quality of the image which is delightful and has been stored in a controlled environment for 20+ years so this vintage item will reach you in the best possible condition.
The 3D Slide is cardboard mounted and may differ from the Kodaslide mount showing the sizes, but the size will be the same and compatible with all Realist Viewers. I will combine postage, please contact me before paying! These Vintage 3D Stereo Slides are very rare. Slides can be viewed using Realist format Stereo viewer and have a real 3D depth and the images are spectacular - they really must be seen through a viewer to be believed. You can of course just scan the image and keep, but seeing this retro technology as it was intended is truly delightful and puts a smile on your face.
Slide viewers can be purchased from eBay or similar. You can get cheap plastic ones or genuine 50’s / 60’s Bakelite viewers by Realist or Kodak very Retro, very collectible and showcase these slides perfectly in all their glory - I have included some shots of these viewers in the photos but are not part of the auction.Successful winners will also be given exclusive option to purchase additional slides directly from me which cannot be listed on eBay due to content.I am selling a selection from my personal collection of these rare vintage slides, each slide is unique as they were not mass produced as the format did not take off. I am only selling duplicate similar poses to trim down my collection, these slides will remain very exclusive and will only go up.
More about the slides and Manufacturing Process & Forward by unnamed Professional photographer who explored 3D back in the 80’s and 90’s. -
For the past 30+ years we have shot over 100 models in 3D. In addition we hired centerfold photographers to shoot using our Realist cameras some rolls for us. They did this at the same sessions they were shooting for the men’s magazines. So we ended up covering their model fees and we ended up getting a nice selection of great models and professional images. Our slides are all cut and hand mounted using a Seary commercial heat sealing machine and we use the pic-mount heat seal mounts. Each slides “chips” are cut and placed on a light box. Then positioned on the mount and sealed. This is a labor intensive process, but one that assures you of getting a Realist slide that is mounted and sealed properly. There is a cost for models, for photography, processing, mounting and selling in the cost of each slide. Please understand these are not mass produced and only two prints of each roll shot were produced using our special process. All of our slides were shot on Kodak negative film stock. Then sent to a motion picture film lab who processed the film and through and optical wet process contact printed the positive film on motion picture film stock. So the same film projected in theaters on the big screen, made to withstand color fading and great heat from the projectors is the slides you now see.You will notice these slides do not fade or lose their color. So what you are seeing in our scans is what you will receive and they will not fade as traditional slide film will. This is why we are the top producers of this material.Limited supply, loads of sexy models, great photography and of course custom mounting of our slides.
