Barclay " Freemason " Masonic Pocket Watch, No. 94 - VERY RARE FEW REMAIN
Item History & Price
Unlike the Dudley, the Freemason has a face featuring our beloved Masonic working tools and symbols in the clock positions: the square and compasses at twelve o'clock, followed by the plumb, the sun, the gavel, the Holy Bible, the pillars of Hiram surrounding the Eye of Providence at six o'clock, the skull and crossed-bones, the cane and spheres, the trowel and the level at eleven o'clock. An elegant window shows the second hand, balance wheel and escapement in action. What Freemason would not be proud to carry this watch?
Flipping open the rear cover exposes the watch's mechanical works. The red gold 'skeleton' frame and bridges are fashioned after the unique design of the Dudley and feature the square and compasses with the letter 'G', the level, the plumb, the brazen pillars of Hiram, the trowel and the Holy Bible. The visible mechanism features beautiful 'blued' hand-set screws. A stainless steel chain is included.
REGRETTABLY, RETURNS OR EXCHANGES CAN NOT BE ACCEPTED.
The watch will be delivered with a Signed Certificate of Authenticity in its original custom box SIGNED BY BROTHER ED BARCLAY. As the company no longer exists, there is no warranty for the watch's materials or workmanship and it is being sold 'as-is'. The watch has been wind-tested and checked for accuracy over 48 hours and is in perfect running condition. The watch back is suitable for engraving.
