*** ************************** ****Up for sale here is a sparkling clean milk bottle from the town of Farmville, Virginia, located in both Prince Edward and Cumberland Counties. This tall round embossed quart example is sparkling clean and near mint. Bottle has seen barely any wear. Displays quite handsomely as seen here.*It reads on the bottle ~ "One Quart / Liquid". Then belo...w in a circular slug plate, it crisply reads ~ "FARMVILLE CREAMERY INC. / PASTEURIZED / FARMVILLE, VA." On the base there is a very slurred "TMC" glass house mark. I see no numbers for the date. Looks to date into the late 1920's era. *This sparkling clean example measures 9 1/2 inches tall, and 3 3/4 inches in diameter. You will be well pleased with such a nice example as this one. A nice piece of vintage dairy and milk bottle history, from the southern state of Virginia.
