This is a very fine quality and good sized 18th century Chinese bronze censer or incense burner, in very good condition.There are some interesting features: the legs of the censer are in the shape of children, and the handles are shaped as dragons, with a larger dragon on the cover. Large Heavy Late Edo Period Japanese Bronze Incense Burner Censer Chinese Style

This is one of the Items we brought to the Antiques Roadshow at Winterthur 618. He said it was Japanese in a Chinese style about 1860. It is heavy and weighs almost 16 pounds.
