Vintage Heddon 45 Bait Caster With Carter Pat

For your consideration is a very nice clean Heddon 45 reel. Short production period circa (1918-1919). Has the Carter's Pat. July 6, 1904 Nov 18, 1905. William Carter was part owner in the B. F. Meek & Son reel company and started working with the Heddon Co. in 1917. The Number 1 is stamped on the bottom of perfect foot. Classic extra large original handle. Click works perfect. All parts, end caps, thumb rest, screws etc. original. Runs smooth as silk! Exceptional overall condition.... See photo's.
