Vintage 1957 Madame Alexander Cissy Doll.
She measures about 20" tall.
She wears her original yellow afternoon english rose taffeta dress. Dress is full and very crisp with cameo broach and Cissy tag attached. No rips or holes noted. All snaps are present and securely attached. The dress has some light soil spots on the taffeta, as well as on the lace sleeves. I did not try to remove them. Panties and slip are clean with elastic very tight ...on waist area. I didn't remove the panties or slip, because I didn't want to stretch out the elastic. She also wears her original black wide brimmed horse-hair hat with 3 yellow fabric flowers attached. Faux pearl earrings. They may have been drop earrings originally. Black sling-back heels (worn elastic) and back-seam nylons. One nylon has a small hole in the toe area.
Her body has lovely blushing on back of hands and knees. Soft, vinyl arms (jointed at elbows). Hard-plastic legs (jointed at knees). She has a small tear in the soft vinyl under one arm (shown in close-up picture) It doesn't affect the movement of the arm. Her head is a little loose. Some scuff marks around upper neck from head movement. Back of head reads, ALEXANDER. No offensive odors noted.
Her golden blonde hair appears to be in the original set with original hair net and barrette. She has a matte complexion with light blush and blue sleep eyes. Applied lashes are full. Eyes open and close freely.
