Details:- It is not dated, but judging by age of paper on the back, etc., I would have to place this painting between 1955 and 1975.
- It is oil on board, not canvas. I cannot see precisely what type of board due to paper covering the back.
- The visible part of the painting is 9.5" x 7.5".- Professionally framed in a GORGEOUS carved wooden frame
- Frame is ...approx. 19" x 17", with cable on back for hanging.
Q: Is anything else included with this auction? A: Only what appears in the photos is included. Condition Details:- Fabulous, ready-to-hang condition - both frame and painting.
- No condition issues with the painting.
- The frame has some tiny chips in the finish -- one on top, and some smaller ones on the side. (See last 2 photos.) These are really not noticeable, but you may wish to touch them up before hanging.
- Please supersize all photos for full detail. (The final 3 photos highlight the flaking area.)As with all my listings (unless explicitly stated otherwise), this comes from a NON-smoking environment.Please be aware -- as with ALL antique and vintage paintings, prints, and other framed items -- that there is a potential (though unlikely) that the original paint on the frame may contain lead compounds, and (even MORE unlikely, though possible) asbestos-related materials. If this is a concern, one option is that you can apply a clear matte sealer over it so nobody comes in direct contact with the original paint.
