Based on my research Pedro Lazcano is known for TexasLandscape. Born in the village of Villa Del Carmen outsideof Mexico City, Lazcano moved to San Antonio, Texas whenhe was 3 years old.
Its been said by many experts that Pedro was a friend/associate& drinking buddy with Porfirio Salinas.
This work of art is not dated but i have been told that this piecedates to the 1950's...hopefully the label on the canvas board(seepicture # 11) can date this work of art for you.

Based on my extensive research i saw a small 9" x 12" Lazcano'sbluebonnet painting sell for over $1, 000.00 and some 18+ inchesby 20+ inches sell for more than $2, 000.00.

What i have here for you is a LARGE 16" x 20" oil painting on canvaspanel (23" x 27" Framed) in very nice condition for its age with the most soughtafter subject matter which is "BLUEBONNETS", and by a very well know Texas Listed Artist by the name of PEDRO LAZCANO....It just doesn'tget any better than this if you ask me.
The frame is old and does have some damage as you can seein the pictures but the frame can be changed.
