Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Sherman, Vintage, Late 1950's - Teal, Sky Blue and Emerald Green AB Color - Round and Marquise Shaped Crystals - Tiered Crescent Cluster Motif Brooch and Earring Set. EXTREMELY RARE DESIGN & COLOR COMBINATION! - MINT CONDITION! - NO RESERVE! This handsome and very impressive set dates from the late 1950's, made by the well known Canadian firm of "Sherman" designed as an medium sized 1.75" by 1.50" tiered crescent cluster... motif featuring a large centered marquise shaped crystal accented with a raised border of tiny crystals and layered and stacked for a 3-D effect. The set is done in a series of dazzling and intense teal, sky blue and emerald green AB color round and marquise shaped crystals set in a rhodium plated setting. The brooch comes with a pair of 1" border detailed marquise crystal cluster earrings that are an exact matcg to the central details in the brooch.
The set is in mint condition showing minimal use, all the original stones, none missing or replaced with no loss to the finish or plating on the back of the brooch or earrings.
The brooch is marked on the back, Sherman on a small silver square and Sherman on the back of the ear clips. SHERMAN Sherman was a Canadian costume jewelry company that produced very high-quality pieces. Colorful or clear prong-set rhinestones or cut crystal beads (sometimes with an aurora borealis finish) adorn most Sherman pieces; the metal is rhodium-plated or gold-plated.
