Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Sherman, Vintage, Late 1950's - Emerald Green and Clear Color - Round and Marquise Shaped Crystals - 1" Wide - Openwork Cluster Motif Bracelet. BOOK PIECE! - EXTREMELY RARE DESIGN & COLOR COMBINATION!
MINT CONDITION! - NO RESERVE! This handsome and very impressive bracelet dates from the late 1950's, made by the well known Canadian firm of "Sherman" designed as 1" wide openwork cluster bracelet featuring alternating ...lies of marquise shaped crystals and lines of medium and small crystals. The bracelet is done in a series of dazzling and intense emerald green and clear color round and marquise shaped crystals set in a rhodium plated setting.
The bracelet measures 7" in length with a width of 1".
The bracelet, in this color and various color combinations, can be seen on page 101 and throughout of the new Yallen and Caldwell Sherman book - "Sherman Jewellery - The Masterpiece Collection". The bracelet is in mint condition showing very minimal use, all the original stones, none missing or replaced with no loss to the finish or plating on the back of the bracelet. The bracelet is marked on the back, Sherman in script letters on a small silver square.
SHERMAN Sherman was a Canadian costume jewelry company that produced very high-quality pieces. Colorful or clear prong-set rhinestones or cut crystal beads (sometimes with an aurora borealis finish) adorn most Sherman pieces; the metal is rhodium-plated or gold-plated.
