Antique 19th Century Chinese dragon robe. Blue silk ground with dragons in couched gold thread. Lishui, clouds and bats rendered in polychrome satin stitch throughout. Auspicious symbols and cranes in forbidden stitch with couched gold thread embellishment. Horseshoe cuffs.
Flaws and wear as photographed. Several areas of abrasions and wear to blue silk ground. Several areas of evident repairs. Closures either missing or replaced. Wear... to surface of gold wrapped couching. Please see photos for condition and details and message with any questions.
