Next up for sale is an originalModel 1855 .58 caliber cartridge box, with original plate and tins.  The box is marked with a makers name, which I cannot make out and a US that isvisible on the inner flap. The box is in good shape with age cracks on thefront leather flap and a great original brass US plate. The overall conditionis very good, with intact buckles and belt straps. All stitching and rivets areintact and strong.This is a very good example of an early pre- war box t...hatprobably saw some service during the Civil War. Shipping for this item willbe based on the Zip Code/Location of the Buyer. WI residents will pay 5% sales tax unless they submit a Sales TaxNumber.
