Thrifting find. Vintage Blenko Charcoal Decanter. Shape 587, I believe referred to as a spool shape. Stands about 13” tall. It’s a clear gray color. First shown in Blenko’s 1958 catalog. It originally came with a clear glass pyramid-shaped stopper, which was missing. I found a replacement stopper that is similar in shape, and it fits nicely. But please note that it is not to my knowledge a Blenko stopper. The stopper also has a chip on the base that doesn’t show when in place i...n the bottle. As for the vase, there are no chips or cracks that I can find, but there are some elongated bubbles inside the glass, near the top, that can be seen in the pic. There is also some mottled cloudiness in the glass, near the bottom, as shown in the last picture. Etched Blenko mark on the bottom.
