Lot of TWO ATELIER FAUNI TRUMPET NOSE FIGURES! Hand made in Finland 1960's. These rare figures are made of leather & fur with glass eyes. They are fashioned after the beloved MOOMIN MUUMI characters created by the famous Finnish author TOVE JANSSON.
The figures are well loved and worn but retain their original beauty I think because they both have their lovely perfect blue glass eyes. Between the two there is only one hand left. They both have their perfect ...tails! One has a paper tag that reads Atelier Fauni on one side & Finnish writing on the other. The tag is very delicate but still attached. GENUINE made by FAUNI.
about the character:TRUMPETNOSE (Trumpet Nose) is the beloved and much respected poet and noble leader of Trolldom. He is called TORVINOKKA in Finnish.
