This is a Mint in the box #1988 Pflueger Capitol-Freespool. This 250 yd reel has never had line on it and looks as good as the day it was made. It comes with a star drag and a leather thumb brake. It comes in its' original box along with several extras. The labels on the end and top of the box are pretty nice and the box is complete with only minor wear. In addition to the box, the reel comes with a Proper use and care of brochure that lists the price of the reel at $...10.00 and also has a schematic drawing of the reel on the back. In addition, there is a Pflueger catalog that not only shows pictures of some reels with prices but also lures like Pal-o-mine, Pippin, Hoptoit and others. It also lists some rods as well as Pflueger line for sale. There is also a guarantee brochure that shows how to take the reel apart to oil it. Next is a sample of Cuttyhunk and Tarpsail line with prices. Lastly the reel comes with a reel wrench stamped Pflueger.
