I'm not an expert on reel-to-reel recorders. I do not have any tape to test it to see if everything works as it should. As you can see from the pictures, The Reel spins when in the fast forward, play and Rewind positions. I bought this unit and an estate sale and it appears to have been very well taken care of. The accessories and owners manual pictured are included. The original box has some wear but overall in Nice condition and will work nicely for shipping purposes. Depending on wh...ere you live, there may be a sales tax added onto the selling cost. It will be packaged with great care.
