This listing is for a vintage Dyna ST-70 Stereo Power Amplifierwithout tubes purchased at an estate sale, As Is. It apparently was stored for many years. It ishome-wired. The chassis base and side frame is tarnished and has random spotswhere nickel plating has flaked, and it has some oxidation. The brown cage is in goodcondition with some oxidation along a factory side fold. The chassis needs detailing to bring it back to factory brightness. It’s a stock ST-70... with an original PC3 stuffedphenolic board, a Dynaco #298706, 525 Volt 4-tab Capacitor Can, a C-354 choke, 2bias adjusting pots, a selenium rectifier with a silicon conversion attached, andthree transformers. The Power transformer, Dynaco part #464006, PA060 isoriginal. One Output transformer, Dynacopart #454326, A 470 is original. Theother Output transformer, Dynaco part #454326, Z-326 is a later replacement likelysourced in Japan by Dynaco in the 1970’s. I disconnected the transformer connections where necessary to measurewinding Resistance and Inductance for consistency with the PA 060 and A 470 referencespares that I have. The winding measurements of these mounted transformers wereno greater or less than 1% of my reference unit measurements.
