This is a Pilot mono tube receiver from the 1950s. Cosmetic condition is excellent. Probably the nicest I have ever seen. It was designed to compete with the Fisher 500 as well as other manufacturers of the time. Excellent design and build quality with potted transformers. I also have the original paperwork and tags that were with this when it was sold. Someone took great care of this all these years. I brought it up slowly on a Variac and it is in working condition despite it’s age.... I have installed a NOS pair of GE 6L6GC tubes for output. As you can see from the photos, it appears it has all the original circuit components so it must be serviced with critical components like electrolytics evaluated before use for safety and to perform as it was designed. Because of this I am listing this as not working until properly serviced and ready for daily use. This is a beautiful example of early Pilot high fidelity sold in those days.
