This Garrard Lab 80 Automatic Transcription Turntable is exceptionally well preserved and it is fully working.
It comes with the original Empire 808E cartridge mounted. It also includes the original box, manuals, brochure, template, single and multi spindles, etc.
I was told this had been boxed up for decades. It was unpacked and base added in the past couple years, but has had little use since.
Paperwork included indicates it was ordered new in early 1966.
I have tho...roughly tested it, both on single and multi play, and found it in good working condition. The sound is good. Condition in detail above.
As with any vintage equipment it isn't perfect and will likely benefit from some service for best performance. I have no experience with this model, so may have overlooked something.
