Item Measurements: The pendant measures 2.10" long, including the bale, and 0.30" in diameter. When expanded, it measures approximately 3.85" long.
Notable Features: This retractable sliding pencil was originally meant to be worn on a chatelaine. It is made out of 18k yellow gold with applied 18k green gold leaves on the outside of the piece. Each diamond is set within .950 platinum to enhance the sparkle of the stones. When expanded, the inside of the pencil is made out of 18k rose gold. The pencil was designed in a Lily of the Valley style typical of the Art Nouveau era. The piece still functions properly and with the addition of lead could still be used as a pencil. This piece can also be worn on a necklace as a beautiful pendant. Damage: Age appropriate wear. There is one diamond missing from the piece, which is hardly noticeable. If desired, your local jeweler can replace the missing 0.01 carat diamond. The pencil will also need lead if desired to use for that purpose.
