I KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT CAMERAS OR LENSES BUT AFTER SPEAKING TO A VINTAGE LEICA SPECIALIST IN BURY LANCASHIRE THIS IS A VINTAGE LEITZ WETZLAR F2 SUMMICRON 1:2 50mm LENS IS IN SUPERB CONDITION BUT DOES HAVE SLIGHT HAZE, COMES IN LEITZ BUBBLE CASE, THE LENS WAS BOUGHT IN JANUARY 1961, BEEN KEPT IN PADDED CAMERA BAG . I HAVE SPOKEN TO A SPECIALIST LEICA CAMERA AND LENS RESTORER AND HE SAYS MOST OF THESE EARLY VINTAGE LENSES DO HAVE SOME HAZE IN THEM , THIS LENS IS APPROX 1958 AND IN SUPER CONDITIO...N BUT AS I STATE IT HAS SOME HAZE, I BELEIVE SOME LEICA PHOTOGRAPHERS ACTUALLY LIKE THE HAZE FOR CERTAIN PHOTOGRAPHS. THE LENS WHEN LOOKED THROUGH AS A MAGNIFYING GLASS IS AS CLEAR AS DAYLIGHT YOU CANT EVEN TELL THERE IS HAZE.
